air

by Richard James Allen
From book: The Air Dolphin Brigade [ Previous | Next ]

i thanked her
once, twice,
more times than
i thought wise

but there was
little other choice
available
to me

her mind
was made up
like the wings
of an airplane

i had no
idea
where she would be
flying to

i could
only hope
that she understood
the navigation of air
